Суд над Александром Каном во Владивостоке переходит к исследованию доказательств

The Frunzensky District Court in Vladivostok is continuing its proceedings in the criminal case involving Alexander Kan. During the session held on March 17, presided over by Judge Maslakov, the court advanced to a new phase: the scrutiny of evidence gathered by the investigative authorities. "В ходе судебного заседания сторона обвинения начала представлять суду письменные доказательства", - рассказали в пресс-службе судов Приморского края.

An essential characteristic of these proceedings remains their structure. The court hearings are being conducted in absentia, meaning without the physical presence of Alexander Kan himself. As highlighted during the sessions, this procedure is permissible under the regulations of the Criminal Procedure Code, given that the defendant is currently located outside the Russian Federation.

Despite the defendant"s absence, both state prosecutors and Alexander Kan"s legal representatives, attorneys Zelands and Filipenko, are present and actively participating in the courtroom.

Previously, the prosecution"s representatives fully articulated the specifics of the charges brought against Kan. The defense, for its part, conveyed its objection to the investigative body"s stance. Subsequent to this, the court established the sequence for examining evidence, a process that commenced this current week.

Напомним, 3 марта 2026 года Фрунзенский районный суд Владивостока начал рассмотрение дела Александра Кана, бывшего руководителя ООО Курильский универсальный комплекс. Ему заочно вменяют контрабанду краба, уклонение от уплаты таможенных платежей и участие в организованном преступном сообществе. Следствие утверждает, что с 2014 по 2019 год он вместе с подельниками нелегально вывозил живого краба за границу, занижая стоимость при декларировании.
