VLADIVOSTOK, November 30, vladivostoktimes.com The USSR Master of Sports of International Class Leonid NAZARENKO will become the head coach of Luch-Energiya Vladivostok FC. Luch-Energiya Vladivostok FC press-service reports that the agreement with this expert is already reached and he will sign a contract on Tuesday. Leonid NAZARENKO was born on March 21, 1955. He started his player career in Gulkevichi, than he was transferred to Rostov sports boarding school where he was till 1972. After successful performance of his junior team in Spartakiada in Kiev he moved to SKA Rostov FC. In the end of the season of 1975 he moved to CSKA FC. He played five seasons for them, scoring 15 goals. He was called for USSR national team in January, 1976 where he played 8 matches scoring 2 goals. 1976 Olympic Games bronze medalist, where he played 2 games scoring one goal to Brazilian national team. After he suffered a quadriceps tendon rupture in summer 1979, he had to finish the player’s career. He works as a football coach since 1984. He started in SKA Khabarovsk FC, worked as a head coach in Torpedo-Victoriya FC (Nizhniy Novgorod), Kuban Krasnodar FC, Terek Grozniy FC, Dynamo Bryansk FC.
