VLADIVOSTOK, November 23, vladivostoktimes.com Dutchman Dick ADVOCAAT, Zenit St-Petersburg ex-coach, may replace his countryman Guus HIDDINK as Russian national football team coach, “Sport” newspaper reports. According to the periodical, after the retirement of Russian Football Union (RFU) president Vitaliy MUTKO the Union will be probably headed by Zenit St-Petersburg ex-president Sergey FURSENKO who was one of the initiators of the “Little General’s” invitation to St Petersburg in 2006. If FURSENKO is elected RFU president, he will probably introduce ADVOCAAT to Russian national team upon the condition of HIDDINK’s retirement. ADVOCAAT is a current coach of the Belgian national football team. At the same time Guus HIDDINK is likely to retire.
