VLADIVOSTOK, August 3, vladivostoktimes.com Exhibition “Through Meridian” dedicated to history of the international film festival “Pacific Meridian” is to open on August 9 in Vladivostok, the press-service of the Primorsky Territory Administration reports. The film festival “Pacific Meridian” is one of the most important cultural events in Primorye. Its name is known not only in Russia, but also in the world. It has deserved respect among cinematographers of the Asian-Pacific region. World-famous directors, well-known Russian and foreign actors, venerable critics arrive in Vladivostok to the festival annually. Exhibition “Through Meridian” is dedicated to six-year history of the festival. “We would like to create an exhibition project, capable to tell not only about festival history, but to reproduce atmosphere of the event, special sensible and sense atmosphere which this event takes place in, curator of the exhibition Andrei VASILENKO said.
