  VLADIVOSTOK, July 14, vladivostoktimes.com The issues of social and economic development of the Siberia and Far Eastern regions during the economic crisis, improving of the living standards, creation of the favorable conditions for accumulating of the able-bodied population in the Russian Far East and the strategy of the Russian Far East social and economic development till 2025 will be discussed at the IV Far Eastern International Economic Forum.

As RIA PrimaMedia was informed in the press service of the RF President Plenipotentiary in the Far Eastern Federal District Apparatus, the Forum will be held with the support of the RF President Plenipotentiary in the Far Eastern Federal District in Khabarovsk on September 8-9.

Victor ISHAEV, the Plenipotentiary of the RF President in the Far Eastern Federal District, made such decision 2 days before and informed about it at the Plenipotentiary Apparatus meeting.

According to the decision of the Council of the RF Federal Assembly State Duma the Forum is to be held in Khabarovsk on September 8-9. By tradition, the Lower Chamber of the RF Parliament, the “United Russia” party, the Interregional Association “Far East and Zabaikalye” and the Khabarovsk Territory Government are the organizers of the Forum. The event is held with the official support of the RF Government and the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The IV Forum is to be devoted to the issues of social and economic development of the Siberia and Far Eastern regions during the economic crisis, improving of the living standards, creation of the favorable conditions for accumulating of the able-bodied population in the Russian Far East and the strategy of the Russian Far East social and economic development till 2025.

Starting from this year the Far Eastern International Economic Forum is held every other year alternated with the Baikal Economic Forum in Irkutsk. The appropriate decision was made in Moscow. Only three “round tables” are to take place in the framework of the Forum and they are to be held in turn so that all Forum participants can take an active part in each of them. Boris GRYZLOV, the Speaker of the Russian Federation Federal Assembly State Duma is expected to attend the IV Far Eastern International Economic Forum. Besides the representatives of the Russian officials and business the delegations of Japan, China, the South Korea and Mongolia – the Russia’s closest neighbors in the Asia-Pacific Region – are invited to participate in the Forum.
